July 9th 2019 was a day that Marly and Mike will never forget. This handsome couple lives in Toronto (Canada), we can really say that they are made for one another, and their day was a day full of joys, sweetness and love. Their wedding has become an unforgettable memory, not only for the two main characters, but also for each and every one of the guests who were part of that great day.

It was a three-day wedding, in which all his family and friends flew from different parts of the world to enjoy wonderful days in a nature and peaceful environment such as the “Alt Empordà”. This area is one of the best known areas of the Costa Brava and is characterized by offering corners of great beauty and clear water beaches.
The wedding was held at “The Hotel Castell d’Empordà”, a charming hotel located in the middle of the nature of the Costa Brava with 57 rooms that combines all the magic of an ancient castle with the design and modernity of our days. Decorated with furniture and fabrics selected by their owners on their trips around the world.

Their celebrations began with a “welcome party” on the first day, enjoying a welcome cocktail that lasted until the late morning hours. Our Marly wore a wonderful Chanel style two-piece dress with beautiful black sandals.
The next morning, a “pool party” was organized, in which everyone was dressed in white, being able to relax and enjoy the music.
When the afternoon came, they went to change to continue the celebration in a relaxed area of the hotel enjoying the best of the sunsets in the Empordà area.

Marly started the morning in her suite with her bridesmaids while Mike did the same.
The bridesmaids were adorable with their little dresses and their hairstyles adorned with flower crowns, the team of makeup artists and hairdresser Pietro (Salon Toro Bridal), Miguel Angel Hodar and Erika G. Avià. They got a very well worked natural look and neutral makeup in earth tones.
The day started with a lot of rain, but fortunately our couple was finally able to get married in the middle of the wonderful olive trees in the castle that they had dreamed of for so long.
We are still in love with how our girlfriend was dressed, with a wonderful dress by Monique Lhuillier and Jimmy Choo that stylized her figure.

The floral decoration was in charge of Rita Experience who had a lot of taste and detail when decorating the ceremony and the rest of the decoration being very romantic. The bride’s bouquet was one of the most important things for Marly, it had to be full of bouvardia.
The entrance to the ceremony with its Jewish touches was really wonderful, we will never forget Mike’s eyes when he saw his wife approach the altar. Marly was accompanied by her father and mother at the time of reaching the altar, it really was one of the most endearing parts of the ceremony since different generations of the family were present, her grandmother Sufta had a special role.
The aperitif was served on a terrace taking advantage of the spectacular views, all enlivened by the live music of the band The Swing Cats, an original jazz group in acoustic format.
We put together a very fun seating plan thanks to Steelhalo and Lauren Pearson with illustrations personalized by a Toronto illustrator.

Dinner served by the catering “Castell de l’Empordà was held under a pergola in the same castle, we decorated all the columns with voluminous greens, the flowers were in white tones and a very elegant set of dishes in white from “Abanik ” .The signage chosen for the menu was on a cotton textured paper with a very minimal design thanks to Lovers Love Loving.
Of course all the design and styling of the wedding devised by the hand of our wonderful stylist Andrea Llàcer who always tries to make a difference in the small details.

After the wonderful speeches, it was time for the party! Where grown-ups, youngsters and little ones stood up and danced to the music of the “hour”, a Jewish tradition in which the bride and groom are “revolved” by the air sitting in a chair, while trying to close enough to kiss.
The disco was held in the Castell d’Empordà cave, thanks to the wonderful team of “Kamal“.

For Mike it was very important that there be a “whiskey and cigar bar” and a “champagne bar”, all this gave a very glamorous touch to the party.
We cannot forget Caitlin Wickham who was in charge of capturing all the magical moments in the form of photography and of course also AlCuadrado who created a wonderfully magical video of these three days of events.

In short, it was a unique wedding and with many details that made everything shine with its own light.
