We are excited to tell you about the wedding of Kristina and Jonas, a handsome Norwegian couple, we can’t forget their beautiful daughter Mathilde, a beautiful baby girl. They decided to celebrate their wedding in the city of Barcelona as it was always a very special city for both of them in which Jonas lived years ago.

All the wedding guests stayed in different hotels in the city, all very central.

The night before the wedding, a welcome party was held on a well-known rooftop terrace in Barcelona, where they could enjoy a wonderful view of the Port of Barcelona.

The next day, the big day arrived! The venue for the celebration was El Palauet a unique modernist building. Actually it is a real palace in the centre of Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia, you could say that it is the hidden jewel of Barcelona’s modernism.

This space has some suites of 150m2 with two impressive balconies that offer unbeatable views of this part of the city, our couple enjoyed staying in it during their days of stay.

The morning of the wedding started with a lot of energy from all of us who were there, both from the professionals who worked that day as well as from the “bridal party” and some of their guests. We had a lot of rehearsals since a great majority of our couple’s friends are professional musicians in Norway so the music and “entertainment” was a very important part of the day.

Kristina was dazzling, just perfect, in her Pronovias dress with a semi-covered back that looked like a scandal. She wore her blonde hair down and very natural makeup, all thanks to Teresa Snowball‘s team.

At all times she was with her great friend, her maid of honor, Ingrid who was dressed in a sky blue shade dress that really fit her beautifully and elegantly.

The ceremony was simply magical, we recreated a secret garden in shades of green and white, it couldn’t have been more beautiful, even some butterflies were appearing. Again it was wonderful to have you Andrea Llàcer designing so much magic. It was also a good thing to team up again with the artist Mireia Abras in all the floral details.

The ceremony entrance was very special as Jonas and Mathilde waited for Kristina at the foot of the modernist staircase that our bride slowly descended. As soon as she arrived she met her daughter, this being a very endearing moment for everyone. It was then that she was picked up and the three of them together, holding her arm, went to the altar.

The Norwegian ceremonies are a little different from what we usually see since for most of the ceremony the bride sits next to her bridesmaid and the same goes for the groom who sits next to his best man.

The ceremony was enlivened by a pianist, a guitar and a female voice together with the sound company Kamal. This group of musicians were close friends of the couple, so it made everything even more special.

Once the ceremony was over, the guests went up to the terrace where they could enjoy the aperitif served by the magnificent Azulius catering, at all times they were entertained with live music by other friends of the couple who are also professional musicians.

The seating plan we made for the couple was very beautiful, it was a dark green velvety cotton fabric with the arrangement of the two tables delicately calligraphed by Lovers Love Loving.

The dinner was held in a very cozy room that thanks to its stone arches and lighting, we were able to create a very pleasant atmosphere.

The assembly consisted of two imperial tables in the form of T, decorated with garlands of flowers in green and white and, as always, we could not lack the candles to finish create the magic that we love and that guests feel when entering the dinner.

As in all Norwegian weddings the “toastmasters” play a very important role since without them it wouldn’t be the same, therefore just to start the dinner the projections, music and speeches and surprises were prepared for everyone.

The wish of the bride and groom was that everything would breathe a lot of elegance and sophistication, the beautiful material we used for the staging of the dinner and ceremony was from Abanik.

At the time of the disco all the guests had a great time! I think all the guests will remember that day as a very special day.

It was a wonderful wedding Kristina and Jonas, thank you for letting us be part of it.
