Zoé & José Antonio
A Cinematic Celebration Along the Mediterranean Coast
Zoé and José Antonio’s wedding celebrations began the day before the wedding, as the couple and their guests gathered for welcome drinks and a relaxed alfresco dinner in the picturesque garden of Catalina Gavà Mar. Set among the pine trees and just steps from the beach, the setting created a beautifully elegant yet effortlessly relaxed atmosphere for the welcome party. Live music greeted guests as the evening unfolded, setting the tone for a memorable celebration.
Set along the coastline, directly overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the historic estate Xalet del Nin served as the main setting for the wedding celebrations. On the morning of the wedding, Zoé got ready in one of the venue’s beautiful suites, surrounded by her mum and bridesmaids. She shared a heartfelt first look with her father before being collected in a vintage white Rolls-Royce, which brought her to the ceremony. Meanwhile, José Antonio prepared for the day at his family home, allowing their first look to take place as Zoe walked down the aisle. The ceremony was held at an idyllic church in the coastal town of Sitges, a cherished spiritual landmark just a short drive from the venue. Inside, the church was beautifully adorned with floral arrangements lining each pew, creating a graceful aisle leading toward the altar. The florals featured lush white hydrangeas and classic white roses, accented with soft greenery, resulting in an airy and timeless aesthetic that perfectly echoed the white roses of Zoé’s bouquet. As the ceremony came to a close, guests showered the newlyweds with white floral petals as they exited the church, before the couple made a memorable departure in the Rolls-Royce, returning to the venue where the celebrations continued.
Once guests arrived at the venue, they were welcomed with a glass of chilled Cava Rosé and were able to take in the beautiful venue and coastal views from the balcony terrace. The cocktail hour unfolded across an elegant terrace and its adjoining lawn, surrounded by pine and palm trees with the sea stretching beyond the property. High and low tables were thoughtfully arranged throughout the space, dressed in rich green linens, some in solid tones, others in classic Toile de Jouy, creating a refined atmosphere. The bar, finished in the same deep green hue, tied the entire aesthetic together beautifully. Tables were styled with elegant floral arrangements composed of soft white and blush blooms, pale green hydrangeas, and delicate seasonal flowers, arranged in an organic style that echoed the surrounding landscape. As guests enjoyed delicious bites from the various food stations spread throughout the space, a master cigar roller crafted fresh cigars on site, offering a bespoke touch that added to the relaxed, celebratory ambiance. Whilst a live band provided the perfect soundtrack, adding energy and warmth to this memorable afternoon celebration.
After the cocktail hour, guests were welcomed into the reception held within a glass umbracle, fully draped in soft light-beige fabric to create an airy and magical setting. The tables were arranged in a flowing serpentine layout, adding movement and elegance to the space. Each table was styled with crisp light-toned linens, sculptural blush-toned plates topped with personalised menus, and delicate florals in soft blush, peach, ivory, and fresh green hues. At the ends of the tables, beautiful floral installations cascaded gently to the floor, while crystal chandeliers hung throughout, casting a warm glow over the evening. A thoughtful personal touch awaited guests at their seats in the form of a beautifully presented box containing a napkin embroidered with their initials. As dinner came to a close, a minimalist white wedding cake with softly draped, sculptural detailing was presented, followed by a heartfelt tradition in which the mothers of the bride and groom were each gifted a bouquet.
As dinner came to a close, guests gathered at the foot of the stone steps beside a softly lit fountain in front of the property’s façade, where the couple shared their first dance beneath the grand stone arches. A truly intimate and cinematic moment. From there, guests were invited to pass through the flowing drapery into the disco, where deep rose fabrics enveloped the space, creating a romantic and atmospheric setting. Disco balls suspended from the ceiling casted shimmering reflections across the room, filling the space with movement and light. Behind the bar, a hand-painted mural was softly illuminated from below, adding an artistic, refined touch that felt both playful and timeless. With music and dancing into the night, the celebration came to a memorable close.
