Wafa & Mohamad

A Vibrant Lebanese Wedding at Castell de Sant Marçal

On June 11th, 2025,  Mohamad and Wafa celebrated a beautiful Lebanese wedding at Castell de Sant Marçal, an elegant historic castle just outside Barcelona, Spain. Surrounded by gardens and natural greenery, the secluded estate offered a refined and atmospheric backdrop for this high-energy celebration filled with music, tradition, and dancing.

On the wedding morning, Wafa got ready at the beautiful Seventy Hotel in Barcelona, surrounded by her closest friends and family as they helped her prepare for the day. Wafa and Mohamad were the first to arrive at the castle so they could share a private first look. The moment unfolded in a serene corner of the estate, set between ivy-covered stone walls and the façade of a small chapel. The elegant backdrop and peaceful surroundings created the perfect setting for this meaningful and memorable moment.

Once guests arrived, they were welcomed onto the upper terrace in front of the castle’s iconic façade, where they enjoyed refreshing drinks and delicious bites. Low and high tables dressed in crisp white linens and soft pink florals were paired with shaded parasols and relaxed lounge areas, creating a timeless and romantic atmosphere. Black chairs with subtle gold detailing echoed the lounge furniture, tying the design together seamlessly. Just beside the terrace, a beautifully designed seating plan featured rows of personalized olive oil tins labeled with the couple´s names. Thoughtfully arranged, they served both as place cards and as a meaningful gift for guests to take home, seamlessly blending function with refined design.

As cocktail hour drew to a close, guests were invited to make their way down the grand stone staircase, toward the lawn where the reception would take place. Once all the guests had gathered on the lawn, the ceremony began with a lively moment as Mohamad made an unforgettable entrance alongside his friends, to upbeat, energetic music that filled the space and set an exciting tone. As the atmosphere settled, Mohamad took his place to await Wafa’s arrival. A flower girl then led the way, scattering petals along the path, followed by the bride´s entrance. Accompanied by live music, she walked with her father until she reached Mohamad at the end of the walkway. The moment flowed seamlessly into their first dance together, setting the tone for an evening filled with movement, rhythm, and joyful celebration that would continue long into the night.

On the lawn, two long tables were set facing the fountain, with the dance floor placed in front and the castle as a striking backdrop. Dressed in crisp white linens, the tables featured florals in soft blush, ivory, and rose tones mixed with fresh greenery. Polished silver charger plates, crystal glassware, and personalized embroidered napkins with Wafa and Mohamad’s initials added a refined detail, while blush candles in silver holders added a warm glow. Fresh fruit styled among the florals added texture and a sense of abundance, completing an elegant and romantic tablescape.

Throughout the dinner, the atmosphere was filled with movement and joyful celebration, with guests frequently rising to dance between courses. As the evening progressed, heartfelt speeches were shared, adding meaningful and emotional moments to the celebration. The night continued with a lively cake cutting of a striking round cake topped entirely with fresh strawberries, followed by an elegant dessert display set along a long, fabric-draped table adorned with tall candleholders and soft florals, creating a beautiful and celebratory close to the evening.

To close the celebration, guests were invited inside the castle for the final chapter of the evening. Within the iconic stone walls, dancing continued beneath sparkling disco balls, transforming the historic interior into a vibrant party setting and carrying the joyful energy of the day late into the night.
