Mumta & Ian
In October 2023, Mumta and Ian welcomed their loved ones to Spain for a breathtaking destination wedding that unfolded as a fully immersive celebration of Indian and American traditions. Set on the Costa Brava, chosen for its natural beauty and personal significance, as Spain was becoming the couple’s future home. The wedding experience was brought to life through a thoughtfully curated, multi-day series of events, including a mehndi, haldi, sangeet, civil ceremony, and Indian ceremony, each hosted across several distinct venues.
With nearly all guests traveling from abroad, the weekend required an exceptional level of logistical coordination, from international communications and multi-property lodging to transportation, welcome experiences, and highly personalized guest management. Each celebration carried its own visual identity and energy: a relaxed, modern mehndi that allowed guests to settle in with ease; a joyful haldi brunch rooted in tradition; a high-energy sangeet inspired by Andalusian textures and color; an elegant black-tie civil ceremony set within the refined grounds of Castell de Peralada; and a dramatic Indian ceremony and a final disco celebration. Despite the scale and intricacy, the weekend felt intimate and cohesive, fueled by music, movement, incredible gastronomy, and an infectious energy that carried all guests through four days of celebration.
The result was more than a wedding, it was a fully immersive journey, balancing cultural heritage with modern design and thoughtful hospitality.
