A Colorful Celebration: Erika and Adam’s Unique Wedding in Empordà

In the heart of the historical region of Empordà, in Catalonia, Spain, Erika and Adam’s wedding unfolded at Cortal Gran, a cherished family estate dating back to the 15th century. The day began with radiant sunshine as Erika, accompanied by her friends and family, prepared with nerves and excitement for the day’s festivities in one of Cortal Gran’s charming rooms.

One of the things that we would like to highlight about this wedding is that every aspect of Erika and Adam’s event was meticulously planned and designed with personalized touches. From bespoke textile designs following the color palette in pinks and citric greens and yellow for the cocktail lounge, to custom-made details such as the customization of the awnings for the buffets, the event was a testament to their love and attention to detail.

The ceremony took place in the property’s greenhouse, transformed into an altar framed by organic floral arrangements and curved seating. The reception accelerated an enchanting ambiance accentuated by the heartfelt melodies of a talented pianist.

After the couple had exchanged their vows underneath the colorful energies of their floral altar, guests were ushered to the cocktail reception and were welcomed by lively Catalonian rumba music, perfectly complementing the joyful atmosphere. 

Handcrafted cushions and covers adorned the chill-out area, harmonizing with the vibrant color palette of the wedding, while custom-designed buffet canopies and a round rustic wooden bar added to the naturalistic charm.

For dinner, two long imperial tables were adorned with salmon-colored linens, yellow candles, and floral arrangements, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. The meticulously coordinated stationery added a touch of elegance to the soirée, culminating in a dream-like setting.

As the evening progressed, the dance floor came alive with the couple’s touching first dance, radiating love and happiness, followed by an energetic celebration that kept guests dancing late into the night.
