Amanda & Will

A Timeless Celebration at Castell de Peralada

In September of 2025, Amanda and Will celebrated their wedding at Castell de Peralada, a historic castle in Catalonia’s Alt Empordà region. With its 14th-century origins and elegant blend of medieval heritage and refined luxury, the setting offered a timeless and atmospheric backdrop for their celebration.

On the wedding day ahead of the festivities, Amanda and Will chose to share a private first look together in a serene cloister on the grounds of Castell de Peralada. Arranged around a peaceful garden and framed by covered walkways with elegant stone arches, the cloister offered an intimate, and meaningful setting, perfectly suited for this beautiful moment.

Once guests arrived at Castell de Peralada, they were guided to Iglesia del Carmen, the private Gothic chapel where the ceremony was held. The entrance was dressed with soft off-white draping, subtly framing the doorway in an atmospheric and refined manner, drawing guests gently into the ceremony space. Inside, natural light filtered through the stained-glass windows, casting gentle reflections across the stone interior, while tall white candles lined the altar, their warm glow beautifully enhancing the church’s timeless elegance.

After the ceremony, cocktail hour unfolded in the garden beside the ivy-covered façade of the Carmen convent. Set in front of the garden fountain, the bar became a natural focal point, designed in a curved shape and carefully draped in flowing white fabric. Sculptural floral arrangements in warm blush and caramel tones adorned the bar, while delicate glassware lined the surface. Along the terrace, marble high tables were paired with low tables, softly draped to mirror the bar’s flowing fabrics, surrounded by black chairs, giving the space a chic and elegant feel. Each table was finished with a small glass vase holding the same florals seen at the bar, tying the design together seamlessly. As guests mingled, trays of bites circulated, drinks flowed freely, and master cigar rollers crafted fresh cigars on the spot, while the gentle sound of live guitar music added to the warm atmosphere.

When it was time for dinner, guests were guided through a beautiful stone passageway, gently transitioning them from the garden into the castle grounds where the evening would continue. Just beside the entrance to the passageway stood a thoughtfully designed seating plan, set on a round table draped in crisp white linen. At its center stood a sculptural floral installation, mirroring the arrangements featured at the bar and creating a refined focal point. Surrounding it, seating cards with delicately frayed edges were laid out evenly, their subtle texture and color perfectly echoing the floral palette and setting the tone for the elegant dinner to come.

Dinner took place alongside the castle’s iconic façade, where two long tables were set covered by strings of lights that softly illuminated the space. The tables were dressed in white linens, with cascading floral arrangements along the sides in the same warm blush and caramel tones seen throughout the cocktail hour design. The florals were accompanied by elegant candlelight that added warmth and intimacy. Place settings featured delicate white plates with subtle black detailing, echoing the black chairs and tying the design together seamlessly. Soft-toned menus rested at each setting, their hues thoughtfully chosen to mirror the florals and maintain a cohesive palette that flowed naturally from the cocktail hour into the evening.

Before dinner began, the couple made a memorable entrance, stepping onto the stone courtyard in front of the castle façade for their first dance beneath the glowing lights, followed by heartfelt dances with their parents. As the evening unfolded, moving speeches were shared, and a beautiful wedding cake was presented. The cake was a sculptural white design adorned with florals that perfectly echoed the arrangements seen throughout the celebration, bringing the visual story of the day to a graceful close.

To close the celebration, guests were guided to the disco. Thoughtful details set the tone, from a selection of comfortable dancing shoes for the women, a much-appreciated touch, to the electric atmosphere that followed. The newlyweds made a playful, high-energy entrance, surrounded by entertainers in shimmering disco-ball outfits, sparklers lighting the way and drinks in hand. From that moment on, the night proceeded in celebration, with joyful energy carrying everyone well into the night.
